Psalm 148:7 “Praise the Lord from the earth…fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling His word!”
Did you know that even the weather acts to fulfill God’s word? That’s what this Psalm tells us. The wind, the water, the storm are at God’s beck and call and under His command.
- What does it tell us about God and His purposes?
- What is God telling us about Himself?
- What is He telling us about our life on earth?
- Have your children enact a thunderstorm, tornado, or hurricane while you direct them. Get creative. Show them what it’s like to hear instruction and act on it.
Thank God for His limitless power that is huge enough send fire, gentle enough to halt a thunderstorm. Ask God to teach you more trust in His sovereign goodness this week. And that you would respond to His call on your life in direct and immediate obedience, just like the climate does.
