Happy Winter

Happy early New Year everyone!!!

Only two days left in 2019!
You may be dismantling your tree and putting away all the lights and ornaments … or maybe not. I have a dear friend who leaves her tree and lights up through January… so, what is your preference and tradition? How have you changed your thinking over the years?

Like my friend, I keep my twig tree decorated and lit for weeks after Christmas because I love the warmth of the twinkle lights in our home through the cold days to come, and I keep it decorated because my little tree declares His nearness with our names of Jesus ornaments which are not bound by time! Why not, I decided!

Another decoration that will remain for the entire month of January is a favorite of mine; our January front door snowflake. I love declaring to myself as I come and go and to all who come near the amazing truth that Jesus promised me: “Behold I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5).

Don’t you love imagining a place, our new Home, where all has been made right and new?

Our snowflake will remain in its place of honor until February first when it will be replaced by another promise of God to me and you, “He first loved us”  (1 John 4:19).

New this year for your front doors, too, is our palest of pink heart with this declaration of God’s indescribable love for us! All the month of February my front door will proclaim God’s truth to all who enter.

I love that these two beauties give me an easy way to declare who God is as He commanded us to do, “and these words that I command you today shall be on your heart … you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:6,9).

No matter your preference on your Christmas tree, your front door can continue to share the Good News of Jesus this winter!

You can purchase the snowflake and the heart together in the Front Door Winter Collection at the  special price of $50.

Get yours today before both are gone!

  1. Will you be offering the gold Names of Jesus ornaments again on Ever Thine Home? I see they are sold out, and we adore them and would like to gift them to friends and family.

  2. I love the heart. I would love to even have a copy of that verse on the red barn picture to put on my front door. We have a red barn on our property and my parents lived next door, my dad just passed February 24th. So that would be a wonderful way to honor him as well.
