Matthew 28:3 “His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.”
Lead a discussion with your kids asking, “Who is this verse about?” Of course we know this is describing our holy God.
- Using as many descriptors as you can think of, describe snow
- What does the word like indicate in this sentence? Is God actually made up of snow?
- Why do you think God used the word snow to describe His clothing?
- What does this tell us about God?
- What does it mean to you?
Praise God for His innate holiness that cannot be tarnished by anything. And thank Him that by accepting Jesus as our Savior and forgiver of sin, we can be seen as pure and white as snow too. If someone in your family hasn’t yet made the decision to become a Christian, take time this week to explain the filth of our sin and the cleansing God freely offers.
**Just as a reminder, Spoonful of Sugar will include one Bible verse and a few short questions to spark conversation around the verse’s meaning and message.
