Needing a Translator

May282014

Oh, how I need an interpreter in so much of my life!

Toddler gibberish, teen abbrev-lang, and a nonverbal humph with eye rolls leaves me frustrated a lot of days. Even my husband who speaks adult English still sometimes confuses me with what he really means.

But then there is God. How unsearchable are His ways and impossible to fathom. He for sure fits this hard-to-understand category. Yet, He has graciously come to our world, clothed Himself in our skin, been touched by our infirmities, and translated the Father’s love to us. Though Jesus often spoke in parables, He assured us that anyone who seeks Him will find Him. “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God,” Jesus said to His followers (Luke 8:10).

Learn of Jesus, the interpreter of the Infinite, and bask in the knowledge of the secrets of His kingdom.
