A Perfect Day for a Photo Shoot

It was an exceptionally beautiful spring day in May when Jim, Carrie and I descended on the farm where my mother was born and grew up for our photo shoot. The fields were full of wild flowers, aka weeds in bloom, but beautiful nonetheless. We’d borrowed an old pickup truck from a friend and my grandsons to help us capture in photographs the feelings of family connections, timelessness and the enduring power of home.

That is what we are about with Ever Thine Home.

Here are a few pics from my phone. I fully intended to take lots more but I got so busy after these first few locations that I totally forgot to take any more and only remembered when I finally crashed in bed at 10 that night. Next time I’ll assign that task to someone else!
